In our first summer camp session of 2024, we will spend mornings exploring Flagstaff's rich cultural and artistic community. Our activities will include museum visits, engaging with local artisans, observing patterns in nature, and more! Immersing ourselves in diverse forms of art and craft is integral to developing a well-rounded approach to fashion design. Drawing inspiration from various artists, understanding cultural contributions, and establishing connections are key elements that contribute to our success as designers.
After the morning's exploration, we will return to the Wee Scotty studio for lunch followed by sewing and sketching sessions tailored to enhance each designer's unique style. Every student will have the opportunity to create and sew a distinctive piece. This serves as an excellent starting point to document your interests and expand your knowledge in the expansive realms of art and fashion.
