In this Summer Camp, we will spend the mornings exploring the cultural and artistic community of Flagstaff. Visiting museums, talking to local artisans, looking for patterns in nature, and more! Exposing ourselves to all types of art and craft allows us to be well-rounded in fashion design; getting inspiration from artists, learning cultural contributions, and finding connections are just a few of things that help us to be successful designers!
We return to the Wee Scotty studio for lunch, and then sewing and sketching sessions that will build on the designers’ individual style. Each student will design and sew a finished piece. This is a great place to start documenting your interest & grow your knowledge in the vast field of art & fashion.
