On the first week of February I received a fat quarter of Hoffman’s Cosmos purple from my Quilt Guild to use in a challenge. I did not have it with me as I was walking out of our fabric store, but when I saw the packet of aboriginal prints I knew they would be perfect. I did not want a square quilt so I added sashing going horizontally. I have never done the sashing that way before but I like it.
